was talking to dave about this the other day regards not being able to reset passwords,no pm facilty etc.
and what i would like to know if present members would like to contriube to having our own forum built for us,so we can have more faciltys & control getting rid of the update time daily etc.cost would be around £150 plus regisation & upkeep per annum.
also regards the group po box .
i know daves not keen but also how about renewing every three years or your call gets recyleced .
so the big question is if we have currantly around 75 active members in the uk how about £3 per year & let dave keep some of his money in his pocket especailly in the currant climate??
ps who could argue that dave has done a sterling job in getting the group going & gettig bigger

I'm not rich man, but same here.
We are all in a same boat and only one rowing. This club is great, lets give grate ovation to Dave and now is our turn to help Dave.
I chip in and only what i need is how i can make donations to Dave, i gess you have to email to me, btw i could buy extra qsl also.

yeh i dont mind, its worth a few quid a year. i'm not sayin i'm not happy with the forum and website though its not a bad un. Its done its job gettin members and giving information.
Maybe we might lose members, or may not attract them if we have a compulsory pay? i dont know just throwing it out there

Yes, that can become, but maybe some voluntary fee, like some pennant, stickers, spec qsl or funy goods. This can help and maybe give more chance to develop our group.
This is very nice dx club and i got new friends from this. Ok, we have to hear what Dave like to say and what we can do to help this club.

I also think it's about time "FB Group Members" said a Very Big Thank You to Dave for all his Hard Work and Dedication to this Growing Forum and Group by means of our support in a nominal financial way.
With regards to any type of fees jeopardizing potential future Members, then maybe Paid-Up Members could have Access to Certain Future FB Web-Site Updates or simply have Dedicated QSL Cards issued.
Whatever is decided, I for one would be more than willing to make an Annual Donation to support and move forward this Club.
May "FB" Live Long and Prosper...

Doesnt seem fair to me either that Dave has to pay for everything himself, feel a bit guilty having all this for free, will go along with whatever Dave decides is the way he wants to continue, as you say Keith, he has done a pretty good job so far.

hes posted my cards out foc, so if for me ,then many others.stamps arnt dear but will add up so id be in.
thanks to Dave weve got a well respected yet relaxed group without the bull**** that goes with other elitist clubs and long may it continue that way.if not for personal gain which i think is Daves beef is then for the benifit of the active members to keep us moving onward and upward.
im in.
it would pay for a good piss up next meeting if nowt else!!!
