yeh it is a shame, i dont think i would even get away with the 9' boomerang on the roof. i need to sort it out as i seem to get rf feedback through the astatic mic when using the burner, it seems ok on a standard mic but gives a noisy carrier on the power mic unless i turn the power mic right down. i cant remember having all this trouble years ago, but i guess the antenna being in the loft above the room i use radio could be some of the trouble

lol, i dont really get to switch it on much, everyone round here has loft tv ariels and i interfere with mine so i rekkon the neighbours will get it too. when the skip picks up i may use it in the middle of the day, i will have to put it on a book or summit. it did have a fan strapped to it but i took it off. they were made to get hot like car audio amps, if their hot there working propper
