My aerial @ shack
Just an update of my humble little shack, soon to be changed again on arrival of new mast.
The aerials can be taken portable, as the mast fits on towbar mount, must try it one day!

Hey Al, Just spotted this as I was combing through.

is TVI coming from Antenna or Coax as it looks quite high?
Whats the other rig with your RCI?

Its my old Lincoln, just sold it. Dont know where tvi is coming from Tony but I am now going to get all new coax and put aerial up a bit higher and try that, if that fails I guess I`ll just go mobile.

Ye Al, as I keep saying trial and error!!!! just a question, Do you have a Low Pass Filter in line (some say they work, some say they dont) but its good practice to have one in line???
mine stops TVI on G5RV but not on V in loft??!!

Yes I have one, it made no difference at all. When I get the new coax and raise the pole up I will put an earth on and try that, just hope it works. I will be up the hills tomorow, I hope anyway, something always seems to stop me though-work usually!

Thats it mate, earth everything even the tea cup, then sit on a copper sheet wrapped in kitchen foil (earthed of course!) dont know if it works but sure as hell makes you loose weight!  j193
