Re: April DX for Echo Charlie

Good conditions for 45m and 86m last night, I didnt work 86m but had a good listen and there was quite a number of CQ callers, from Europe and a bit of a net going with stations from Ireland, Netherlands and the UK.

I did work 45m for a short time, FRA, GER, NL, still struggling to set up the audio right though. It works but I still get better reports from the standard mic. I'll get thereemoticon

Re: April DX for Echo Charlie

There are a few of our American cousins on here and other message board sites, there is quite often propagation into the US on 40m, so 45m should be ok.

How about a pre-arranged meeting on EC with some US participants?

I was thinking exactly the same, only this morning I was listening to an American on the 40m band, and thinking if only more Americans used the EC,what fun we could have.

Had a bit of a mishap, the wind has damaged the wire, need to get it sorted tomorrow, particularly if 11m is dead, which theres a good chance emoticon
