club station well at the FB meeting john & simon are putting together a club station so we can be on air over the weekend sept 5-6
the call will be 26FBO00 which is usaully the groups club station's call.
i think we'll be active on 27.585 usb for any station wishing to make contact.
possbaly do a group photo for all those attending to do a qsl card to send out later or sell to attending members as fillers hope to see as many as possable at the meeting

Re: club station Just to add to Keith's post we will be running at least two wirelesses possibly three from a nearby hill wind up masts and beams (simon's quad tehe) certainly a long wire mf/hf setup (M801e with AT141) 706 for 11m (agin with Simons on situ 827)Jason and Tony offered to help to rig up on Friday eve then drink beer till late then kick off Sat morning. Power wise we are still in debate but certainly an ample supply of watts will be radiated and a bonfire and barbie (not the 4 inch blonde one!)is one of the listed activites and i'm sure there will be others.John193
Re: club station Now a bring and burn is something we didnt think of!! sounds a little medieval dont you think? I will have some test gear up with me scope, counter and analyser maybe even take a soldering iron but I dont want to be tied to the bench all weekend! :-)
