have you tried giving the rear hubs a bash with a hammer? might just be the handbrake stuck on, caused by not alot of use maybe?? sometimes the brake shoes/pads stick to the drum on the rears? worth a try

Was handbrake cable, dried out so put a bit of grease on them, shouldnt happen again!

thats cool its sorted, i never used my van for 7 days last week and when i got in that the handbrake stuck on, only for a second but just shows if not used they can stick. If your leaving something parked up for a long time its best to leave the handbrake off and the motor in gear, also chock a wheel.

That's what I get with my Transit - handbrake sticking on if it is left parked for more than a week - it's the shoes, not the cable.
And I also leave it in gear with the habdbrake off, and bricks under the front wheels.
