Hi Danny and welcome, I have sent you a welcome messgae. CB is a no go area for children, at least it is around here. But 11m SSB is OK, with very proffessional, freindly and relaxed operation :0

I lived in Kent for many many years, although from Chiswick originally I bought my first house in Snodland and married a girl from Gillingham and had my second house there, my Parents live in West Malling, and my brother lives in East Farliegh where I used to have a CB club back in 1980

Ok...by way of an update.
What may seem like a drop in the ocean to some, for me my first sucessful 11mtr chat today was a triumph considering the interference I had.
1'0'A003 'Claudio' from Northern Italy reported 5/9.
Maybe the skip or maybe the fact I stuck the A99 up another 10ft or so as I managed to swap the 10ft mast for a telescopic 25ft I has in my office. A bit OTT to now stick on my Chimney in its entirety tho...........
Whatever, I'm a very happy Dan right now.
