Interesting HF frequencies
While the bands are quiet and the nights drawing in i start to tune through all the bands on my hf set.
I have picked up a couple of air line frequencies and some weather stations but am after more.
Have any other members got some interesting frequencies i can have a listen on ?
I can receive 0 - 30mhz only. At the moment i don't have any uhf or vhf equipment

Re: Interesting HF frequencies
Hi
There are plenty of frequencies - I find the most interesting are the hf oceanic frquencies - traffic crossing the atlantic - theres a lot on google if you search "hf oceanic frequencies". You will hear the aircraft position reporting every 45 minutes or so to various control centres. There is also information on the actual tracks across the atlantic & much more 163fb294 Richf

Re: Interesting HF frequencies
Cheers Rich, I have googled and found loads of frequencies but can't seem to hear too much. Don't know if its the time of day or night i am listening or what ?
I get lots of commercial stations just above the 40m ham bands that seem to transmit on AM.
I will keep searching and see if anyone else comes up with any.
