YEASU ft707
I've had my trusty ft707 for a very long time,its been 100% on tx & rx up to this year.
when it needed a little tlc and a few resisters ,well the audio is always BBC 5 ,RX is very good for a radio of its age??
i run it with a adonis 308 mic,and usually if i can hear it i can work it.the service engineer told me it does 180 watts on a peak?
down side ;
very heavy,need external vfo,atu and is not 0-30mhz only tx out of band by changing crystals & having radio retuned .
but this is a early 80's radio.
mine is never to be sold with the external vfo,atu,mobile bracket it will sit up on my bench forever.
9 out of 10
--- 139 in any GOOD group??
