Diamond SX-200 SWR meter.

These are well made & reasonably accurate, but I like to have my meter in line all the time, so I can watch my SWR & power readings & with the Diamond that is not possible. But it does watch peak or average power out (PEP) which for a cheapish SWR meter is exellent.
Frequency coverage is 1.8 to 200MHz, power handling is low at 200 watts max, but it has 3 power settings up to 5, 20 & 200 watts.
This meter looks good in the shack, but personally I prefer my cheaper Avair.

I have knackered two of these, from a personal pov, I wouldnt buy another, they look and feel good quality, but the inards are crap and are prone to shorting, also be aware that these are badge engineered and not made by Diamond but someone else, and you will see this same unit with different names on emoticon

BTW I have a broken one for spares if anyone wants it emoticon

I'm afraid I lean to Dave's summary they are nice CHEAP meters and ok for knocking around at 100w but they are poorly constructed, have crap loads of internal capacitance and are barely within tolerance for CB let alone anything else. I have a pile of dead ones (one of them is Dave's) they are easy to fix up but not worth the time or effort.

rating 4/10

no it's not powered Rich,

all the PEP mode does is to slow down the needle movement, so you get a little bit longer to look at what the maximum power level is on your voice peaks when you transmit on SSB
