I suggest if you are licenced, you keep your AR callsign to yourself, at least keep it between us emoticon

Good luck with it lads. Worth doing, makes you feel better about it and the ham thing becomes less of a pedestall. However, if like me your heart is in 11m things wont change so much emoticon

Re: Callsigns

Passed mine today, need to sort out an
aerial(s)now then wait till thursday I think for a call sign. Think I`m gonna go for a horizontal dipole for 20 or 40 meters to start with as I was told my internal atu wouldnt tune in a G5RV. If its dry this week I`ll have a go making something.

Found it easy Dave, just popped the postcode in me satnav and went straight there!
Thourouly enjoyed it Dave, found it very interesting, lots to think about now, gave me a much better idea on how everything works-esp aerials so looking forward to building a few of my own in the next few weeks. Met some great guys on the course to.
Special thanks to Tony 147 who took the time to show me his shack and was a great help, thanks Tony. Wouldnt have bothered with it if it hadnt been for this site and all the talk about it so thanks to you all, esp Dave.

Re: Callsigns

Nice one Dave.
It's good to see an amateur section on an 11m forum.
I was feeling like I was on the outside looking in so to speak since Callum shut his board down, especially with me not having any 11m Eqpt as there's no way i'm going to incallidate the warrenty on my 857.
