I'm pretty sure theres one on JS somewhere, just cant find it atm emoticon

You will need the telescopic aerial for HF, the small one thats fitted is ok for VHF/UHF but non existant for HF. emoticon

Good fun though emoticon

Have emailed a few on JS but ones sold and no answers from the others. Is the telescopic aerial a Kenwood acc or aftermarket one-or one you made earlier!

The 20m telescopic is an after market, not KW I dont think. Its not this one, its 20m specific fully extended, but its something like this

clicky to telescopic antenna

Also I managed to get and modify a telescopic aerial from a Midland 77-805 portapack CB, this is a centre load 1/4 11m antenna.

Sorry this is the very best image I could find of it, they're as rare as rocking horse dodo, but whne they come up on Ebay no-one wants them and I've seen them sell for a tenner!

i think the cheap ones are spot on for the money, my little one works very well. Mind you saying that ive done my normal thing and bought a brand new yaesu FT60E, i only got it cos its 5watts and loads more memories than my jingtong 208. I always do it, test the water then get myself a decent one. Puxing have some really good reports online and for the price you cant go wrong. Did you get it on uk ebay or did you actually get it on chinese ebay?? and if yes to chinese ebay was it cheaper than uk ebay??

Yes Al, that screws on to the radio and a BNC aerial can fit to that, SMC female to BNC Male. You then can get a BNC female to PL259 male for coax connection (Same as your normal plugs).

Also you'll want a SMC male to BNC female to screw onto your aerials for quick change emoticon

Lots of males and females eh?
