Great radios the FT series. I have seen several FT290's for sale recently & at sensible prices, 2 in excellent condition @ £50 each.
The only problem with these radios is the need for a linear, to run at 10 watts or above.

Yaesu FT290R Mk2 boxed with manual. soft case(unused),antenna, full set of batteries & charger, 12v psu lead, bnc to so239 cable YH-1 headset & SB-10 PTT switch unit (needs 8pin plug)radio is in mint condition £150 postage included (uk only)

I think the FT290R/690R/790R are all fabulous radios. I used to have the 290R and I've still got the 690R set, which is my only 6m radio.
