yeh i do want a homebase to strap to a fence post type thingy, its just postage kills everything. when there was loads of people on in the locality i used to wheel n deal allsorts of stereo/cb stuff, its poo now as you gotta drive 100 odd miles to meet anyone. wouldnt mind the drive if it was worthwhile, but just a twig is a bit ott as i could spend on postage rather than fuel

Re: WANTED a couple of things

sorry about the sluight delay, been doing a big gig locally and it took two days for me to get over it!

anyway - the antron will pack down and post for (i think) about £28 by my usual courier, post wont take anything longer than 1.5metres.

sorry, both 9 foot whips are just that - nine feet long in one piece, so no good to you.

the persuader antenna is a magmount, with the coil in the bottom mount which looks like an upturned yoghurt pot. tried it on the van bonnet the other day while i was making some comparisons and it worked quite well over low/mid/hi, but not too well above or below these freqs.
