SUPERSTAR 158EDX
I'm not totally convinced im doing the right thing here, BUT i am thinking of getting shot of the EDX so i can get some bunce together for another icom for the homebase.
the rig is immaculate condition, covers 24.2 - 29.7mhz all modes, has built in echo, bleep, swr, 12 bands of 40, 10khz shift, nb/anl and talkback.
10w am/fm, 30w ssb
Mike is standard.
Red LED display.
I have a slide mount i can throw in with this rig, and if i get the money via paypal i'll throw in a 9foot whip and an 8 amp psu i found in the garage!!!
looking for £140
i've listed it here first before it goes on ebay - i'd rather flog it to you lot, will be a lot less aggro.
It will be sent by parcel to go (DHL) at a charge of around £10 insured - but i will check if anyone wants an exact price. I can ship abroad also.
great rig, you'll be very happy with it - but i want the whole HF band and vhf/uhf so going for another 706 or 735 or similar icom.
May entertain a px.
come and collect and you will get a cup of tea and you can stroke our two cats!

i was intrested but my tight part of my brain said spend less money, so i bought the Ranger. i rekkon you may get more than 150 for it on ebay, the newer models seem to hold there money. i seen things go for silly amounts, add a tenner and you can get a new one.. lol

ive changed my mind - im going to hang onto it - esp now ive heard the audio on it with a 31 band graphic, a dynamic compressor and an sm58 mike on it!!
all i need now is to get a half decent antenna up - but i think ill leave that until this gale blows over.
