Wanted - CTE TR45 transverter.

Looking for one of these, as my own attempts to make one haven't been overly successful.

Must be in perfect working order.
PM if you have one kicking about the shed, and want to get rid of it. emoticon

Beleive it or not one of these, in fact two of these, have come up on Ebay in recent months. Both went for pretty silly money, I bid £85 on one that went for £110!!! And I thought £85 was too much emoticon

Good luck with your search, but bodily waste from a wooden horse me thinks emoticon

Thanks for that.
I had a look at the link but unfortunately the sale has ended on that particular item.

I'll keep an eye on the 'bay - looks like I might get lucky yet!

I reckon a couple of tankfuls of fuel isn't a lot to pay really - far better than farting about with dodgy equipment, exposed transformer tags, winding choke coils and the rest of it, electric shocks and all.

i can see why the transverter can be a good idea - but ive seen icom 735's go for 200 quid - a broadbanded one will do 6.5 lovely.

200 quid I haven't got. emoticon (cue sad violins...)

May have a mess with my home brew transverter again in the meantime. Just need to get it to transmit only when there's an input, not all the time. emoticon
