In fact theres loads of these for sale on Ebay over Europe, a short email asking to post and how much to the UK and looking at the prices I reckon around £70-90 delivered

I had a look at the link but unfortunately the sale has ended on that particular item.
I'll keep an eye on the 'bay - looks like I might get lucky yet!
I reckon a couple of tankfuls of fuel isn't a lot to pay really - far better than farting about with dodgy equipment, exposed transformer tags, winding choke coils and the rest of it, electric shocks and all.
Re: Wanted - CTE TR45 transverter. i can see why the transverter can be a good idea - but ive seen icom 735's go for 200 quid - a broadbanded one will do 6.5 lovely.
