voltage dropper for lorry


has anyone got a decent voltage dropper for 24 -12v let me know what you have sat in a box doin nothin and how much you would require to part with it

What are like with electronics?
You could knock a scruffy one up for a couple of quid if you are familiar with such things.

6amp ones from Durite are about £15 I think new emoticon

yeah i did that, fed the rig from one battery. it blew up eventually. LOL lcl economy 40. it was no loss i can assure you. LOL.

they are well cheap on ebay. dont risk buying a second hand one, you run the risk of getting a mullered one that will fry your rigs innards.

i just wanted to use the right thing, as i had been told that even if you only come off one batt they are still conected and it can still do harm. i think i should get a new one and stop being tight and asking people for one second hand to save a few quid and fry my pride and joy
