magnum 257 ssb another stupid question i think ?
my radio works fine on fm . since i have started f/b i stopped for my break "lorry" on a nice spot and did some calling on 555. I could hear plenty of stations but not one reply. I noticed the power meter was not showing anything when i key up so i put my swr/power meter on and the result is no power when key up but as i key off there is a pulse on the power meter for aprox, 1 second so i would benefit from someone telling me its all ok its normal you have not been stung when i got the rig .
anyone with any know how please help
