I GOT A ??
I've now added a kenwood ts870s ,to the line up,the yeasu ft 707 still in need of repair,& looks like using the icom 706 ,for summer time mobile dx-activation of 26 JR 139/HB30,coming to a hill near you,having the van converted to a day/camper ready for the summer.looking good doing base for mast asap,ie properly easter ordered 100mtrs of coax ,should do home antennas ,and mobile and enougth left over for future plans???
apparantly the 870 sounds good with the adonis & the base boost on ssb? & will do 140 watts??only prob is i need a bigger BENCH??? catch you soon for a report dave.

For coax, if you go to Farnell.co.uk, we have an account with them. They're not the cheapest but I can get the stuff VAT + Delivery free.

wot sort of coax u what??iam getting rg213 mini low loss,add enougth of the rg8 to heavy?? may be a bit left?? or if any body else requires some can get 2 rolls £1.70 per meter plus post??
