Sirio 3eli beam and 827?

If I have the 827 on the same mast as the 3eli beam, what sort of a gap should there be between them, if any? Just wondering if there was an optimal gap between aerials?

i would put them a 1/4 wave apart al ,the 827 will use the beam as a ground plane, giving a lower angle of radition. emoticon
you could co -phase em if you wanted to thats if tey are both res on 27mhzs

to co-phase them 1/4 wave apart 1/2 wave is better, remember to make your harness or feed point 1/2 wave length ,& your rf will be divided between both ariels.

I think the questions you want to ask yourself are why do you want to co-phase them and what do you hope to achieve by doing it emoticon
