Just discovered this post. Looks like that antenna is made to last, and that's just what we need.

Although we don't get the worst possible weather here, it's enough to destroy the crappy stuff normally available.

indeed. i really think that the americans get a much better deal on antennas than we do - all we get is antrons, i max's and silver rods!!!
