I had a proper engraved one a few years ago, but I sold it. The one I've got now is pre-silver eagle really, its an old D104 from about 1980. Works brilliantly I had it on my Lincoln.

I bought this one for twenty six quid including postage from the USA on Ebay emoticon I bought it as a spare or repair, and all the was wrong was the battery was flat, result emoticon Theres not that much to go wrong tbh, even a replacement element is only a few quid.

Well got mic but the head is all loose, well its off actually! Think I`ll just keep this one as an ornament, was cheap anyway but it does look nice. Bought an old Turner, that looks ok, just need to get a few mic plugs to try it now.

Well got a few plugs and wired them up for me new radio, the Turner +3b worked real well but the old Astatic M6 teardrop shone on the day again, cant find a better mic after all these years, even when I have no signal I still get a radio super 5 with this mic! Cant go on full power from the house as yet, got nothing to power it with so keep it turned down low so my portable powerpack will work it! Will have to do me for now anyway.
