Concerning Elizabethtown, I read a short review at a German OB website about the screening of ET at the Venice Film Festival and about the opinion of the critics => conclusion: positiv reviews! Many reviewers think Orlando IS ABLE to play act. :thumbsup: And the score seems to be great. BUT there are also 2 negative things to tell about the movie, too. First, a bad cut and the huge similarity to "Garden State" (a smaller, 'independent' movie, released earlier this year and directed by Zach Braff). If you haven't yet watched Garden State, you should do it soon, because the film is indeed brilliant and funny. emoticon So ET only seems to be a "poor copy" of Braff's film - what a bummer, uh? :josh:

hi lui. Yeah, I've heard this debate (about Garden State) on some of the other forums too. From what I can tell, Cameron Crowe's film was developed FIRST but Garden State got RELEASED first! There's a link below to one critic's review of E-Town where he also talks a little about how the two films are different.

Anyone that hasn't seen this movie has to. It is THE BEST MOVIE. I just LOVE IT! There's a part where Orlando's Character Drew is in the bed. He looks so sexy sleeping. O.k. I guess that sounds nuts, but it's true. emoticon God, HE'S SO SEXY! Just see the movie, and you'll see what I mean. I already said the movie is an A+ all the way, and IT IS!!!
