Posting Pictures - please read The easiest way of inserting pictures in a thread is to use a free Image hosting site such as ImageShack http://imageshack.us/ or Photobucket http://photobucket.com/.
Once you have uploaded your photographs to their free server just copy the code given and click insert image (top left when adding a post), insert the http web address, click ok, then insert what you want the clickable link to say. Simple
However a massive picture can look great for some but can easily slow down a 56k dialler-upper's internet connection & take way too long! (hey, we've all been there, lol). So stick to an 800x600 as your maximum size, so everyone can see the picture.
