Basics on circle casting
Start East to North
The circle should traditionally be 9 to 18 feet in diameter approximately.
When the circle has been cast it becomes a place between the physical & spiritual worlds.
In the ancient texts the Northeast point of the circle served as a doorway.
Basically use something for each of the four North, East, South and West as per the elements list. For example for East (Air) you could use incense, for South (Fire) you could use a candle of the colour associated with the spell you are casting, for West (Water) you could use a bowl of moon water or blessed water and for North (Earth) you could use a rock.
