Bit of an ethics question.
Is it appropriate for somebody take part in in an "independent" commision regarding superhumans when the person in question has a son who if not technically superhuman is at least currently closely associated with such individuals?
Technically speaking, of course, the Major hasn't told his Father anything. However with Thursday's bairn actively wearing the uniform and evidently wanting to follow in the previous Major's footsteps I think it's more than fair to make the obvious inference.
Definitely a bit potential for a conflict of interest there methinks.
Mind you, I'd be very surprised if the FBI Director wasn't aware of some, if not all, of this already. Wonder what her agenda is?
Politically speaking it would perhaps be handy to have somebody like Thursday on it to (presumably) provide a somewhat pro-superhuman stance. For "balance". At least initially. Later on, at an appropriately auspicious juncture, Thursday's influence could be neutralised by "leaking" allegations about his son.
Just a thought.
Oooh, I'm a bit curious now. When are we going to find out about the other people on this commission?

Re: Bit of an ethics question.
It depends what Stephanie Elliot is putting together. After all she's clearly an ex-super herself and her first appiontment was her ex-teammate, The Defender. So maybe Joe Thursday is meant to provide the balance.
