I could go through and pick out all the little niggly references that point to Sara being pregnant but I won't have the time this week.
But I'm betting she's up the duff.
For obvious reasons I'm going to neither confirm nor deny the theory...
...but Sara's current "condition" has been foreshadowed for quite a while, and hopefully the clues are all in there.

Good question, and I've been unable to find an answer! I shall investigate further.

Re: #41 Synopsis
Yo Blitzen!
I reckon I can explain the "duff" references. Verifying my thoughts with the "Oxford English Reference Dictionary" there's two meanings for "Duff";
a) a boiled pudding.
b) (British) i) counterfeit, worthless
ii) useless, broken.
So "up the duff" is the same as having "a bun in the oven". And get "duffed up" is getting "broken". I'm surprised at wor Dave. Him being the wordsmith he shoulda come right out with this kinda guff.
As for you Ray, sorry I missed the quote.
But clued up now I was pondering summat from the Kinks, showing me age here. I just can't remember the name. Something or other heroes...
Though with Dave's subsequent clue I rather think I may be missing the point and it's a bunch of modern hippy knackers. Such as "Mostly Autumn?" mayhaps?
With reference to "Ray the Romantic", considering my apparently now evident penchant for anti-heroes there's always the possibility it may not have been intended for inference as a compliment! Ha ha!
(Dodge, spin, parry, cower...)
Lard.
P.S. How dim am I? I completely missed out ALL the pregnancy references in the storyline. Typical bloke...

What pregnancy references?
Most definitely Mostly Autumn. And I can accept insults as compliments just as easily.

Re: #41 Synopsis
What pregnancy references? I should've been able spot that!
Being shot in the abdomen should put a stop to that anyway. That's a terrible storyline!
You're bluffing. I can't see any clues...

Re: #41 Synopsis
Whose the father?
Chou Yun when shapechanged?
Is that why she was killed off as she was pretending to be someone else at the time in a subplot prior to the recent issues?
Has Fred foreseen the unborn child's future? Will it be as hero, villain, or something else?
only time will tell.
Or I may just be barking...utwt

Re: #41 Synopsis
so sara would have died if she wasn't pregnant. her luckiness sacrificed her unborn child to die instead of her?
If so, thats a horrible side-effect for her.
