Liked it. Kind of felt short, though.

4500 words, which puts it among the lower 20% of issues ranked by length, but maybe it feels short because not much happens? It's a collection of character flashes rather than an advancing narrative, and has no key turning points to anchor the reader's sense sense of pace.

See how I can come out with literary pseudo-jargon to make it sound like I know what I'm talking about? emoticon

As always, thanks for the feedback emoticon

Re: #35 Synopsis

Well, apart from the bit where he finally confirmed his Dad, "...was never Major Democracy!" I really liked the (perhaps unintended?) Foghorn Leghorn reference to chicken hawks on page 9, panel 3.
Aye, sod your pseudo literary jargon Dave, I just like cartoon references, ha ha!

To illustrate, there's an ace Foghorn quote which could perhaps occasionally (and admittedly cruelly) be applied to Chi-Yun.
"Ah say, nice girl, but about as sharp as a bag of wet mice..."
Eeeeh, ain't I a stinker?

Still, got to agree with Blitzen, it were a bit short. But that's surely cos you're merely setting 'em up for a big fight and/or ambush scene next issue. Cos being a long time comics reader I know it's nearly always disastrous when a team splits, no matter what the reason. Plus I can't think of a better way to screw up Thanksgiving.
Couple that with a potential crisis of confidence...

So, who's going to get ambushed first?

P.S. Did the Major's Mam really have to be called Martha? Ray could have a point there, though maybes I can succeed in distracting her into defending Chi-Yun...

Uuh, nope. Though I concede my lack of elementary perception is well nigh legendary.

It's the only thing that can stop a demon?
It just got itself the Major role in a comic?

Ooh, heres a thought

I was always more important to the plot than you Major Democracy.
