When I wrote that epilogue I really thought I would do the alligator within the next three or four issues, not 20 issues later. But it didn't feel right at that point, and then a whole load of other things had to happen in a certain order, so this was the first opportunity I got to fit it in.

Most of my long-dangling subplots follow the same pattern.

I picked 28 at random as the Sara got pregnant issue - cool coincidence that she ended up in a sewer in both.
