That's going to be very elderly helicopter!

Even the author who couldn't bring himself to publish it!

Are all your K-Men colonial marines? Is it meant to be ironic?

Great issue, Don seems to have supernatural powers in this on though.

I'd like to retract that, though most AH-1W date from 1983 onwards the upgrade to AH-1Z standard will not be complete until 2013!

Sorry about the geekism...

You're right, I don't believe how they did that. Bit of a cop out, wasn't it?

I wish I had known the dates for the AH-1Z... ah well, projects never hit deadlines so they could still be using the older model in 2014.

Not all of them, because I didn't decide on it from the start. Quite a few of them, though.

Wait till I do the bug hunt issue...

It wasn't supposed to be a cop-out. I know exactly how they did it, and I could have freed up enough pages to show it... I just thought the way I wrote it was more interesting.

When this issue was conceived there were two essential things I wanted to include:

1) Don is trapped in an exploding building and miraculously survives (we don't know how).

2) Don is surrounded, outnumbered, and outgunned, and miraculously escapes (we don't know how).

I never intended to show how he did those things. Showing it would make it ordinary, not showing it should make you think... wow, he's good.

Maybe I misjudged it, but when I read it back I still like it.

Maybe it would have worked better if he wore a hat and I showed that he always had it in each scene...

Anyway, the important thing is to realise that Chi-Yun is irrevocably lost. Sorry about that emoticon

I always assumed he did wear a hat in each scene; a NASA baseball cap naturally.

When I read it I thought:

1. That's strange; but he is that good.

2. That's ridiculous.

Later I began to think he may have an as yet unrevealed trick up his sleeve.
