Hard disk failure

I had a bit of a hard disk failure last night and the health of my computer is currently uncertain, though I have managed to get it booting again.

Fear not, all material relevant to Heroes is backed up!

But progress on the next issue may be hindered, and if you need to contact me then e-mail may not be the most reliable method at the moment.

The good news is that my disk has un-failed and regular writing is back on schedule, as you may have spotted.


Ok, which one of you said it's never normally on schedule???

I think my computer is trying to hint that after six years of daily use it's ready for a life of leisure in the retirement home.

Yes, it's non-functional again. I've had to wipe it and rebuild from scratch, which is taking a bit of time and is therefore a good excuse for not getting the new issue ready this weekend.

Assuming I get all the essential bits working by the end of the week, issue 46 will appear next Friday (5th OCtober).
