An event that wiped out heroes power. A new generation of heroes rising up. A batman like hero being the only one left who could fight. Travelling across America.

That's right, it's a novel.

Spooky emoticon

Have you read any of them? Are they any good? I read a couple of the short stories on the web site and couldn't make my mind up. The writing was competent but didn't make me want to rush out and buy the books.

I did like this answer in the Q&A section:

Q. I thought I might have super-powers so I jumped off the shed to see if I could fly and broke my leg! This is your fault! What are you going to do about it?
A. Em... Laugh? If super-powers really existed (which they don't) then jumping off the shed is a pretty dumb way to find out whether you have any! What if your power was invisibility? You'd be lying there on the ground in front of the shed, with a broken leg, and no one would be able to find you to take you to a hospital.

They're YA so the plots are kind of simplistic. I've read the first two, and whilst the first wasn't bad, the second was much better. I got them from the library.

I like that he doesn't shirk from difficult choices and consequences. The villain calls up the MC and gives him a choice between saving a captured hero or some civilians. The MC does the right thing, and the hero's death is on his conscience after that.

But the plots are simple and there is very little (ie no) science involved.
