Everything you ever wanted to know about Time Travel.

Wasn't easy to write. I knew what I wanted to say but I couldn't work out what order to say it in emoticon

How about a bit about the original Major Democracy's Strikeforce. It'll let you get those names out in the open.

Sorry for neglecting this. [Deleted long winded and pointless excuse.]

But finally, I present Strikeforce.

It's not what I originally planned to write, but distilling years of history into a few hundred words proved to be impossible So I settled for a very superficial treatment. (And listing the names of all 45 members, as Knightflyer was hinting at, seemed a bit OTT.)

I do have an additional piece on Strikeforce in the works, which will eventually fill in more detail. God knows when you'll see that, though...

How does magic in the heroes universe work? Whats the system.

And is Chi-yun magical? Or any of the others, heroes or villains? Well, apart from the sorceror, obviously.

Surely to be that irritating, he/she/it's got to be magical!

That one was surprisingly easy.... well, I was surprised to find that I knew what my magic "system" actually is!

Of course, some might think that defining magic as being undefinable is a bit of a cop-out...

For a world where superpower are just re-emerging that's quite a feat...

If superpowers and magic are not linked why did they both disappear when the demon consciousness was imprisoned.

Yessss... that was intended to refer to pre-event machines, when a mad scientist could create a time machine out of a transistor radio and a box of asprin. I'm trying to keep technology in 2014 grounded more in "reality".

They are both linked to the Demon, as Astra explained in
Cosmology (issue 33), which is why both disappeared. But the fact that superpowers are returning and magic is not (according to Astra, who should know) suggests a fundamental difference. It seems to me that the Demon caused an acceleration of super-powers which would have come about anyway through evolution, whereas it caused the existance of magic which would never have been able to occur naturally.

Did all that make sense? And does this mean that I didn't explain things properly in "Cosmology"?
