Re: Pick a subject...
About time we started this going again.
There are, even in the real world, many ideas about Atlantis (and other lost continents) so I'm wondering what view the universe of heroes takes. What was Atlantis, and why did it end?

Uh-oh.
Well after using the Atlantean language for magic users, I suppose I can't suddenly declare it's all a myth. But it might take a while to write up. I need to get the next Heroes issue finished, then I'll tackle this.

Re: Pick a subject...
I was surprised to find that my notes on Atlantis (written over a 20-year period) are don't contain any contradictions. Which means I've always had a pretty solid idea of what Atlantis is/was and have never changed my mind to accomodate new ideas or plots. (This is most unusual for me!)
So, here is everything you ever wanted to know about Atlantis.

Re: Pick a subject...
Hmmm... pyrrhic victory?
Actually the Lemurians unchecked genetic experimentation diversified their genome to a point where they could no longer viable as a single species and (with some minor exceptions) they just faded out. But that's a whole other story...

Grrr
1) They had a Marine uniform
2) They had a radio
3) Between them they have sixty years' experience of fighting terrorists, aliens, and superhuman menaces.
4) Use your imaginations...

Re: Pick a subject...
So what your saying, right, is that Don is actually Chi Yun in disguise. She became a seventeen year old half-naked cheerleader and the helicopter came down to pick her up. That's what I thought had happened, you know...
