Your pet
Sorry if this is not a good thread, Sigfried. Anyway, what pets do you have?
My kitty cat, Lexi, (Russian Blue) seems to have gotten in a little skirmish and now his foot's hurt. Poor kitty. I've been calling him Hopafoot after Turin's nickname for that guy in Unfinished Tales.

Re: Your pet
Not a bad idea! But I have one suggestion:
The question should be changed for me. "What pet's do I not have?"
Well, I don't have very many now, but I had a lot at one point. Right now I have two guinea pigs, Petra and Chloe, three unnamed hermit crabs (unnamed because not only do they change shells, they are also bi-polar), and three dogs, Maren (the black lab), and two other small dogs, James and Coco (don't look at me, I din't name them!).

Re: Your pet
I have only two cats. Their names are Alexei and Tatiana (I am only partially to blame) but everyone calls them Lexi and Baby. Tatiana is so small, she looks like a kitten even though she's a few years old. Lexi's the one I was just talking about (his foot seems much better now) and Tanya's solid black, medium-long haired. They're both really pretty. They're like brother and sister.
I did not know hermit crabs could be bipolar, lol.

Re: Your pet
I didn't even get that part! I just scanned your first post. I have a cat at my dad's house named Baxter. He had a problem just like that!
About a year ago, he got into a fight with some coyotes (my dad lives in the desert). After having hsi leg busted, he hid under a bush for two days, until some lady found him (we still don't know how she found my dad, because the cat doesn't wear a collar). Anyway, you look at him now, and you can't even tell anything happened to him.

Re: Your pet
Coyotes?! Wow, my cat was just defending the territory from another cat! It wasn't that bad of a fight though. I had a cat when I was little that got in a fight with a whole bunch of dogs at once and broke her leg. I thought they were gonna have to put her down, but they didn't.

Re: Your pet
Lexi seems really laid back and lazy all the time so it's surprising to see him get "roused". My old cat though used to chase the deer out of our yard. He got kicked in the face once. It healed ok. Getting hit by a car didn't. ^^;

Re: Your pet
I doubt that would .
Cat's are so cool! I'm a cat person (among other animals, i.e. orangutauns, rats, and hermit crabs), but my mom doesn't like cats one bit, for osme reason.

Re: Your pet
I'm a cat person too. My mom, luckily, is a cat convert. She always preferred dogs, but when I was little I wanted a cat soooo bad so she got me one (the one who broke her leg). We've always had cats since then, and sometimes I think she likes them too much.
I pretty much like all animals. Well, mostly. I hate chickens and bugs except spiders (and butterflies, dragonflies...). My secret career dream is to work as a zoo keeper.

Re: Your pet
I did work as one, sort of. My grandma (who's cat I mentioned just now in the Teacup Cafe back on the moot) is a docent at a "zoo" called the Living Desert, near a city which is ironically dubbed Cat City (Cathederal City). Every summer for several uears, I was a volonteer there, usually helping her with the goats.
