Announcements: Important:HVEL will be relocating to a Proboard, which is currently under construction. It's been great here, hosted by runboard, and this was a great way for me to start out, but due to the more advanced, efficient, manageable, and interchangeable features, I have decided to move HVEL to there. This board will always be here, as a sort of museum to the past HVEL and the promise of the future.

the worst poem i ever heard was one about a guy's lungs and his lungs get mad at his heart for being so great so he stops and the guy dies.

Wierd. I don't take the time to read poetry. I think the worst was the Highway MAn, by Edgar Allan Poe (is it?). I had to memorize it.

The wind was a torrent of darkness among the gusty trees.
The Moon was a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas.
The road was a ribbon of moonlight looping the purple moor.
And the Highwayman came riding, riding, riding,
The Highwayman came riding up to the old inn door.

Over the cobbles he clattered and clanked in the dark inn yard.
He tapped with his whip on the shutters,
but all was locked and barred...
That's all I can remember word for word.

Then there's Annabel Lee...
It was many and many a year ago in a Kingdom by the sea
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of Annabel Lee.
