Announcements: Important:HVEL will be relocating to a Proboard, which is currently under construction. It's been great here, hosted by runboard, and this was a great way for me to start out, but due to the more advanced, efficient, manageable, and interchangeable features, I have decided to move HVEL to there. This board will always be here, as a sort of museum to the past HVEL and the promise of the future.

Meriadoc Brandybuck: Merry, Holdwine, Master Perian, Master Holbytla.

There was Gandalf. He had Mithrandir, Olorin etc.

And also Treebeard, Fangorn, and I think he had one or two more.

Gandalf also had Gandalf Greyhame and Stormcrow. Wasn't he called Tharkun by the Dwarves or something like that?

I'm sure the beginning of Treebeard's name appears in "The Two Towers"

Hm... Aragorn and King Edward I were both called Longshanks by their detractors. (However, Aragorn wasn't needlessly cruel in later years of his reign.)

Aragorn was called Longshanks by Bill Frny whilst heading out from Bree.
