Welcome! If you are not already a member, please join our board! Read the rules before posting, then go post a thread with your username as the title in the Mumak Inn. Thank you for taking the time to visit us!

Please (and this is to all members) refer constantly to the Announcements marquee (directly below), The Hidden Valley Telegram Forum (News), and the rules forum for updates. Also, be sure to visit the Hidden Village Website every now and then (no reason). Announcements: Important:HVEL will be relocating to a Proboard, which is currently under construction. It's been great here, hosted by runboard, and this was a great way for me to start out, but due to the more advanced, efficient, manageable, and interchangeable features, I have decided to move HVEL to there. This board will always be here, as a sort of museum to the past HVEL and the promise of the future.

Re: Food!

Yeah, I've got a good one. My Finnish friend gave me this recepie, and her and I and two buddies made this last night: (It was Girl's night out emoticon )

Girl's Night Salmon

Ingredients:

Filet of salmon or other tasty fish
cream cheese (preferably flavoured with a type that goes with fish, such as Spring Onion)
leeks - sliced thinly
tomato - sliced thinly
oregano
basil
rosemary
salt
lemon pepper
(all amounts to taste, as they depend on the size of the fish)

Place fish filet on a cookie sheet. Spread cream cheese on top, not too thick, but covering the top. Sprinkle all the herbs and spices over the cream cheese. Add sliced tomato and leek on top, also covering the top.

Bake in oven for 15-30 minutes, at 175°C. (Time depends on the size of the fish. Leave it until it's cooked through.)

Serve with: baked potatoes, onions, and carrots - see below

Baked Veggies:
Chop potatoes, carrots and onion small.
Place them around the fish on the cookie tray for tasty baked goodness. May add olive oil and more herbs if desired.

Eat and enjoy!

Oooh, I love artichoke hearts. They're really good in fusili sauce too, with olives, tomato sauce, capers and some other good stuff.

Potstickers! *drools* Oh how I love those. There's a Japanese equivelant too, quite similar to the Chinese ones.

My potstickers! No touchy! emoticon emoticon
