I think it would be fun to play an RPG in the style of writing a group story. (With a group story, each author writes a bit more of the story in their post. They continue where the last person left off, leaving a continuous plot.)

This style could apply to any subject of RPG. At the beginning, each person would post a detailed description of their character.

Then, when you post, you could use all the characters if you wanted. But you have to stay true to the description posted by the creator.

There is, of course, no godmodding or other such nonsense.

Godmodding - saying your character is all-powerful.
Bunnying - saying your character automatically defeated an opponent or dodged/scored a hit.

I imagine this sort of RPG would still need a GM.
