Announcements: Important:HVEL will be relocating to a Proboard, which is currently under construction. It's been great here, hosted by runboard, and this was a great way for me to start out, but due to the more advanced, efficient, manageable, and interchangeable features, I have decided to move HVEL to there. This board will always be here, as a sort of museum to the past HVEL and the promise of the future.

They are proud and wilful, but they are true-hearted, generous in thought and deed: bold but not cruel; wise but unlearned, writing no books but singing many songs after the manner of children of Men before the Dark Years.

I'm a type B: I read the books after seeing the movies.
Merry and Pippin were really...stupid, especially in the first movie. Pippin IMHO seems to have major burping, growing, and hiccup problems. emoticon Want explanation? Okie dokie, you asked for it:
Burping: Legolas *to Merry and Pip*: Lembas! Elvish waybread; one small bite is enough to fill the stomach of a grown man. *he leaves*
Merry: How many did you eat?
Pippin: Four. *buuuuuuuuuurp; and it sounds like a fart, too.* emoticon
Growing: Entwash. Enough said. Majorly bad hooming.
Hiccups: Palantir. Either that or he's having a siezure.

Well, in the book it did mention how much he grew...or Merry thought he was taller, or maybe that was Frodo? emoticon

I ment how PJ did the Entwash. You know, Merry starts hearing noises and it turns out it's Pippin 'talking treeish'...

I watched TTT last night on Stars. What's with all of the extra suspense with Faramir and how he decides to keep the ring. Not to mention Osgiliath.

And why were the men of Gondor in Osgiliath scared. While we were there in TTT we saw no orcs.
