Pipsisewa = Jon Hand = Airport Planner + Commercial Pilot
As the subject line says, I'm an Airport Planner + Commercial Pilot. Most people have no clue what an Airport Planner is, so real breifly, what I do is develop plans (hence the name planner) for the development of airports. pretty vague huh. I work with programs such as AutoCAD 2004, which is what I draw up plans and specs for all aspects of airport development (ie. runways, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons, airfield lighting, markings, navigational aids/equipment, passenger boarding bridges, airport ground service equipment/vehicles, etc. etc. etc.) I also do quite a bit of technical writting, to explain the drawings/plans that are developed and to describe the studies and analyses that I conduct.
My most recent project has been the new Indianapolis Mid-field Terminal project.
