Village of the Forgotten
(Note: Please nobody try and finish my story, I will do it by myself over an extended period of time...I appreciate comments though... sit back and enjoy)
Three young adventurers stumble upon an uncharted village in a hidden valley. A closer investigation of the villages, led the adventurers to conclude that all of the villagers had been brutally massacred. Each individual villager had claw marks ripped into their flesh, and had multiple,dime-sized, puncture wounds on their necks. Inside what looked like a church, the adventurers see a priest leaned up against a statue of what appeared to be an idol of warship. The priest was clutching his heart. He was still alive. One of the adventurers walked to the elderly priest. Outstretching his hand to the adventurer, the priest looked relieved beyond all hope. After tending to the man's wounds, he told the adventurers his tale. It wasn't very informative though, because he had been asleep during the time of the attack. What he did say, though, was that his village had thrived for years, making sure to be inside before nightfall. This was because, during the moons light, creatures of the night roamed the village. These creatures had never before been a threat, but that one devastateful night caused all but this one villager to be savagely killed. He doesn't know why, but he was spared... The old man's story took up a lot of the day, and before they knew it, the sound of the wolf's howl sounded the arrival of nightfall...

Re: Village of the Forgotten
...The priest was horrified at the noise of the wolf. "Nightfall," he said, "they're on their way. Please, hurry up and close the door, the church has no windows. Prop something behind the door and they won't be able to get in..... I hope." The young adventurers did as he had ordered, pushing a bench in front of the door. "We'll need to pass time," the old man said, "because it's gonna be a long night. Wait a minute, I havn't even learned your names yet, and you know not mine. My name is Impen." One of the adventurers said, "I'm Chris." "I'm Snow." one adventurer exclaimed. The last adventurer remained silent. Chris looked over at him and was astonished to see that he was plopped on the bench that had been used to block the door. But then, at second sight, Chris noticed that he was wrong. The third adventurer wasn't sitting there, he was trying to pull the bench away. "Wait!" Chris yelled from across the church. Snow and Impen looked at what Chris was looking at. Chris ran to the door, but before he could make it, the other adventurer had already moved the bench out of the way and propped the door open. The adventurer stepped out into the dark abyss and looked around. As Chris finally approached the door way he froze. A flash of white scattered across the opening and the adventurer was gone. All that remained was his shoe...
