Ok, this is the calumniation of my frustration with the people who have shown interest in this board and haven’t contributed anything. Pleas feel free to add on to this list, ask questions, make mistakes, just have fun and learn as you go.

What is a Message Board?

1. An online community of people with common interests
a. Gaming
b. Comics
c. Anime
d. Sci Fi
e. Fantasy
f. Writing
g. Gaming
h. And other things

2. Screen names
a. Some people use multiple aliases
i. Either because their original screen name that they normally use has already been taken on the board they are signing up for or they wanted to use something different

3. Threads
a. Are meant to be posed in
b. Are convent for chatting if you don’t have instant messenger
c. Shouldn’t be subject to sapaming
i. When two or more people dominate a thread and don’t give other people a chants to keep up.

where ya create a character and play as him/her.
name:
power:
weapon;
gender;
species
appearance
history
anything else

no powerposting
no god characters
no out of context stuff ie there's a fight, and your character's sunbathing.
post sizes: usually 2-3 lines. might be shorter or longer, depending on rp.

Actually I tend to prefer long posts just as long as they don’t take up half the page, but there is nothing wrong with short pots when appropriate. Some RPGs only require short posts, buts some people would consider excessive short posts spmaing, it all depends on who your gaming with.

When I RP (which I luv 2 do btw), I try to include a vast amount of detail, so that a reader can make a better mental picture, so my posts are usually larger and include big words....hmmmm big words, it makes me think.... about what you ask? I don't know! emoticon

Big words are nice and all, but some times the reader wont know what you’re trying to say. And this is why we have dictionaries, so it looks like mine is going to be getting a lot of use.

I make big posts. Just ask Sable. ^^ I made on that was took the length of my screen. Had to, it was a battle between my two characters. I didn't want Sable to have to keep having her character cheer... Remember?
