Karma

I've noticed, here for one, people have been talking about Karma, but what exactly is Karma? It's something spiritual I think, but can anyone define it?

Re: Karma

your "good deeds" and "bad deeds"
last i read bout it, it's spiritual. something like what comes around goes around.
if you do good deeds, ie good karma rises and you sooner or later get reincarnated into a better caste/body.
if you do bad deeds, ie bad karma rises and you sooner or later get reincarnated into a worst body.

Re: Karma

well.

Hindu's believe in eternal reincarnation till they reach the ultimate stage. (which if you think about it quite impossible) keep dying, reincarnate, die, reincarnate. etc. till you be one with the 1 being.

Buddhism believe if you believe and in the 4 noble truths(all life involves suffering, desire is cause of suffering, elimination of desire brings end to suffering, disciplined life with noble 8fold path brings elimination of desire) and the noble eightfold path. (right belief, right resolve, right speech, right behavior, right occupation, right effort, right contemplation, right meditation)

you will reach the end of the reincarnation cycle and be 1 with the ultimate being.

so saids my history book at least. emoticon
