Consider Service when buying a rod
Just wanted to pass along that my experience in dealing with St. Croix in getting a rod repaired has been excellent BOTH times I broke a rod. Last month I broke the tip off my 3 wt. while fishing a small stream...I mailed the rod to St. Croix on 4/26 and it was in my mailbox on 5/8 - a turn around of 12 days!
I don't know of any other company with that quick of a turnaround for warranty repair.
Since this was my second broken rod, this is especially important to me!!
