What Fly to Use Now?
I am heading towards Linville Falls this weekend and going to do some trout fishing. I am new to trout fishing and would appreciate someone telling me what flies I should be using this time of year. All posts will be greatly appreciated.

Re: What Fly to Use Now?
We were up on the Linville river over Labor Day weekend. We were using flying ants, June bugs, black ants, and bumble bees and getting pretty good action on hatchery released fish.

Re: What Fly to Use Now?
Try kicking the bushes, beating the grass to see what kind of bugs fly up. Turn over a rock, see who's under. (no snakes hopefully). Once you've discoverd the local buggy friends, make your decision baised on these for your wet or dry fly to further fool the fish that "here is more food". Good luck.
