Report rec'd from my good friend Tom Jackson, whom I did the fly tying video this past year:
Well, I went in through the field that me and you went to the first time we went together. They were rising right at that same spot that I started at the last time. I spent about an hour after them with no luck. I finally figured that I was getting drag on my drifts. Anyway I headed up river and finally started hooking them on a double nymph rig. My first good one was the best of the day, about a 14" brown. I probably caught about 10 on the upper side of that pool. I worked my way up catching a few here or there. When I got to that pool that me and you quit at last time, all heck broke loose. I think I mad about 25 casts in a row with a hit on at least everyone. All told I think I landed about 20-25 in that one pool alone. I continued fishing in the pool above that one (it has all the bricks and stuff). I caught a couple more but nothing practically great. Decided to head out for the day, since it was 3:30. All told I would expect somewhere around 40 fish.
Thanks for all your advice and whatnot. Your flies work great as usual.
