Watauga 10/25
I decided to take a vacation day yesterday, as I see my opportunities of getting over the hill to TN fading away for this year. And I was fortunate to have a bang up day. The meal ticket was size 20 Henryville Special, although when the temps warmed up around 3:30 or so, I threw a beetle to a sipper on the bank, and he ate it. It was my best fish of the day, a 16" rainbow. It was my best day on the water without a guide. Landed 20 fish, all on the surface - 14 bows, 6 browns, with numerous misses, or unbuttons as Jeff refers to. Started at the Siam bridge, and finished at Lovers lane.
