Re: Yaguchi Hitori

Well, I did have a bit of a feeling, after they were making such a fuss over the birthday, and then when this new show was announced:

This week was the LAST episode of YaguchiHitori emoticon

Hello! Morning did exactly the same. Make a big fuss over the upcoming birthday (seventh in that case) because it's actually the end - yet they don't tell you it is. emoticon

So THAT'S why they brought forward Mari's guitar playing too. It was going to happen at the end of the year. emoticon

Well, we've got Monkey Baby, so I guess the show sort of continues. Let's hope it's as good.

So here it is, the final YaguchiHitori emoticon

Still in Taiwan, and after seeing some photos of newly weds outside a wedding shop, Haruki takes Mari to a photo studio. He wants to take some wedding photos with her!! Haruki however, has a different outfit in mind for himself emoticon

Then, it's finally time for Mari's guitar live. First, Haruki thanks everyone for the last five years, and thanks us all for watching. He also thanks Tell Me Club agian, for their trip in Taiwan.
Mari sings, and plays, the song "Kanpai" ("Cheers/Toast").

Finally, before they go, Haruki has a BIG SHOCK announcement - to Mari, the staff and all of the viewers:
He says that [Spoiler, highlight to read >>] he, Haruki, is actually.... Gekidan Hitori!! emoticon emoticon emoticon He says that he's been pretending to be someone else for five years and no one has ever realised, not even the people who work with him!! emoticon emoticon [End of spoiler]

And that's that emoticonemoticonemoticon
I got goosebumps in the song, looking back at some of the stuff they've done emoticon Haruki lifted the mood as usual just before the end though emoticon

THANK YOU Mari and Haruki (/Gekidan emoticon (who knew? emoticon)) for making us laugh week after week. emoticon
As I said, I hope Monkey Baby is as funny. I think it's being made by the same people, so fingers crossed it will be. Hopefully we'll see on Friday or Saturday.

emoticon I didn't see the end coming. Now we know, why that voice sounded that scary.. it knew that the show will end soon emoticon emoticon

It really makes me sad, just a few weeks after I started to watch (or to watch bits of it), it ends emoticon Why did they built a new studio, when it should end a few weeks later emoticon

and Mari Mari Mari emoticon that made me happy again emoticon

I don't understand why so many Japanese shows just suddenly end without telling you that they're going to. There was no mention AT ALL until this week's episode... Which was the last one.

As I said, it was exactly the same with Haromoni. And, thinking about it Takeshi too. That ended suddenly really, as they made new games (Roulette three episode before the final regular one), which I'm sure they wouldn't have bothered to make if they knew there were just three episodes left, surely? Million Family too!

I just think when they moved to the new set they had no idea it was finishing. Seeing as Mari's guitar debut was always planned for Christmas. emoticon Mind you, I I think they just moved to a room upstairs from their previous studio, so I doubt too much work went into it, lol! emoticon

I've watched the end (the song onwards) quite a few times now emoticon It's still sad emoticon

Goodbye Yaguchi Hitori! They really ended with the right pictures to sum the show up perfectly.
