How to Monkey Baby!
Seeing as Yaguchi Hitori is no more ( ), I thought we'd best have a new topic for Mari and Gekidan's new show: "How to Monkey Baby!".
Some more info has been released about it:
Each week Mari and Gekidan are challenged to learn how to do things in a short period of time. Experts come in and teach them the skills, and then see how good they are at the end by having them try out their new skills for real.
The explanation of the title is that it's like monkeys copy things, but they don't really know what they're doing. Mari and Gekidan will be like monkey babies as they'll be copying the experts... Or something like that 
That all sounds pretty similar to YH actually. An expert teaching them how to do something, then they try it out. Yay! 
This week it's "How to play baseball", and they begin to learn "How to shoot a movie".

I hope Haruki will host the show and not Gekidan. I don't understand, why they produce a new show, which is nearly the same as the old one. Maybe there will be a new producer..

The new show is on a different channel. I suppose TV Asahi wanted to end YaguchiHitori, but the team that made it didn't want to finish, so they took it to another channel. Perhaps Tokyo MX (their new channel) want the show themselves too?
They probably had to change the name/premise of the show so TV Asahi didn't complain?
I think, from what I've read, Monkey Baby is made by exactly the same people. I don't think they've been lucky enough to get rid of Stingy P then!!
That does looks like Haruki anyway, not Gekidan. He's got the hair, necklace and (new!) glasses. Although, he hasn't got a missing tooth. Maybe Haruki has had some work done on his mouth since he came back from Taiwan?
... Dunno what's up with the Elivs jumpsuit though!
I was going to watch live, but the channel disappeared the second the show started
I really hope I can find it somewhere later, or tomorrow.

Does YH get bad ratings or something like that? I mean there was really no reason to cancel that show. Anyway.. Tokyo MX is my new favourite channel  (although I can't watch it )
Have you found a video of Monkey Baby yet or more information?  Is MaiMai still around? Haven't seen her for a while

YH's ratings improved a lot over this year, so no, I don't understand it either
Though, we never did find out if wearing bras and sucking pearls got the ratings up more 
MaiMai was still around until the last episode (though she didn't get to go to Taiwan), but the games got too complicated to understand, without knowing loads of Japanese! She's not in Monkey Baby - YET anyway.
And YES. I managed to find it yesterday
The video isn't too good quality, but at least we can see it now!
I did try to upload the video last night, but YouTube kept telling me there was an error.

Mari welcomes all new channel 9 viewers (guessing Tokyo MX is on channel 9) and introduces herself, and then her co-host...
It's... HARUKU  Apparently, he's from America. Haruku can be shortened to Halk (/Hulk), as it says on his jumpsuit
You know, he really does seem very familiar...
Mari has explained that in the show they'll be learning "How to" do different things. Haruku suggests, how about, "How to play guitar!!?". Mari says no way, she hasn't got any interest in playing the guitar at all
In-jokes already! And we actually get them!! Yaguchi Hitori lives on
This week, as we know, it's "How to Baseball". The expert is Toshio Tanokura, former professional baseball player.
First we see how good Mari and Haruku are at hitting a baseball without any lessons.
Toshio then teaches Mari and Haruku. He shows them the correct positions to stand in, how to swing the bat, etc.
The bat has to be swung straight, so to help he has a board with a hole cut out, that they have to swing the bat through.
At the end, if Toshio thinks they have successfully learnt how to hit the ball properly, he'll give them a stamp on their "How to" card (not sure what the purpose of this is, but anyway).
I had to edit it quickly last night, so I've cut lots out, but they did get a lot more training! Sorry about the blurriness, but that's the only video I could find anywhere.
So, we know Haruki, Haruko, and now Haruku. I wonder who Haruka and Haruke are?

The new show looks good and actually felt a little bit different from YH. (maybe it was just the outdoor setting). I hope there will be shows like the karaoke shows or ones, wherein the guest made that love trailer which was featured in a KHoutube, but I'm afraid that we don't get that types, because there don't fit the learning theme that well.
I guess they will get a reward if they completed their "How to" card. Hopefully the show doesn't end after they got six stemps

I think with it starting on baseball, and being outside as you said, it was always going to seem different to YH. But I'm sure we'll get things that are a lot more similar to the stuff they used to do.
It's filming a movie next week, indoors, so that should be much more familiar!
The start with them both inside was as same as always though.
I've just listened again, and I think Mari says that they'll get special food/a meal once they get six stamps. Just a reward for learning things I guess

I guess Stingy P doesn't produce the show any longer then.. he would never buy them a reward.
